Once the capital of Upper Canada, the old town is still alive with character of the bygone era. The most famous attraction - the main street - offers a variety of unique gift shops and antique stores along with many fine restaurants to suit all tastes.

The town is home to many historic sites and monumnets and world renowned theatre with the Shaw Festival and its three theatres. Many visitors arrive by boat from cities and towns along Lake Ontario.

Nearby guests can enjoy Niagara Falls with its many attractions and, of course, The Falls themselves.

Niagara-on-the-Lake has been often called the garden orchard and vineyard for Ontario. Of course, no visit would be complete without a tour of one of the many famous and award winning wineries.

Many trails and paths criss-cross the area and it's a favorite with hikers and nature lovers.
